Rust Engineer

BlocHaus is working with an advanced Blockchain Infrastructure client who is seeking a Rust Engineer to join their team. As a Rust Engineer with blockchain expertise, you’ll be building a robust, high-efficiency backend system for cross-chain data collection and analysis. This role emphasizes developing innovative solutions to gather, analyze, and process data across multiple blockchain platforms. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Building a powerful backend system that handles cross-chain data collection, processing, and analysis, always keeping scalability and reliability top of mind.
• Diving deep into research to tackle the unique challenges of cross-chain data, discovering new approaches and implementing practical solutions.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with the team to create backend systems that not only meet but exceed our technical and business goals, ensuring they’re delivering exactly what’s needed.
• Reviewing and refining code to maintain the highest standards, while also guiding and mentoring junior team members, sharing your knowledge, and helping them grow.
• Leveraging your expertise in data structures and algorithms to optimize performance, ensuring our backend systems run as efficiently as possible.

What’s required to be successful:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
• Proficiency in Rust.
• Experience using modern programming languages such as Golang, Java or JavaScript.
• Strong SQL skills, multithreading, and data structures knowledge.
• Expertise with cross-chain protocols.
• Must be located in a USA timezone.
