Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a Head of Product to provide strategic guidance and oversee the development of a Web3 DevSecOps platform. This role will involve selectively integrating service requirements and technologies into their existing portfolio. Reporting to the CEO, you will initially execute projects independently and eventually build and manage a product team. Success in this role requires a focus on execution and rapid iteration to establish our client as the leading DevSecOps platform in the Web3 space while building a world-class product management team.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the product vision and strategy for the DevSecOps Platform to drive user adoption and business impact.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and translate them into actionable requirements for the development team.
• Collaborate with development and UI design teams to ensure feasibility, manage timing, and overcome blockers to meet deadlines and expectations.
• Execute and align on a vision, launching and maintaining a market-validated product at scale.
• Establish KPIs, systems, and processes to define clear priorities.
• Create roadmaps, report on progress, identify and overcome obstacles, and contribute to continuous improvement programs.
• Contribute to the architecture and implementation of innovative DevSecOps solutions and processes.
• Utilize product feedback and industry data to inform and shape product strategy.
• Hire and lead a high-performing product management team.
• Coordinate actions across the organization to drive product success.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of full-time experience at a top technology or security company.
• Startup experience.
• Technical background, such as a degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Strong passion for building technical software products and managing them from conception to launch.
• Excellent organizational, execution, and project management skills, with a data-driven approach to product decisions.
• Ability to synthesize technical concepts and communicate them clearly and simply through documentation or other content.
• Deep interest in DeFi and web3, along with enthusiasm for understanding complex concepts.
• Experience with open-source projects, either as a creator, contributor, or working at an open-source company.
• Possesses common sense, humility, empathy, and excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a managed service or consulting business.
• Previous involvement in a Web3 project or company.
