Core Protocol Engineer

BlocHaus is working with one of the fastest-growing brands in the Web3 space to hire a Protocol Engineer to join their team. As a Protocol Engineer, you’ll be working on a globally distributed crypto team building industry leading technology. The ideal candidate will have expertise using Solidity and deep knowledge in security best practices. 

This is a remote first role where you’ll be able to make an immediate impact working in a quickly growing startup. 

What you’ll be doing: 

• Collaborate closely with the development teams behind high-profile projects building on top of a decentralized layer-2 solution, helping shape project specifications, supporting development efforts, and offering ongoing guidance to ensure success.
• Designing and streamlining the onboarding process for new projects, ensuring it’s a smooth transition from initial engagement to production.
• Actively listening to feedback from developers and partners, using insights to continually improve the developer experience and make sure it’s always evolving to meet their needs.
• Building and sharing proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and showcase the platform’s capabilities while inspiring the broader community on how to make the most of its technology.

What’s required:

• Extensive experience using Solidity.
• Familiarity with Ethereum dApp and wallet development paradigms as well as industry-standard developer tooling.
• Expertise with Typescript, React, and Node.js is a plus. 
• Excellent communication and project management expertise.
